The Record-Breaking Elite Series XL: Winter Ultimate Edition at RedStar Poker

In the winter of 2024-2025, the iPoker rooms will host the largest series in their history, with a guaranteed prize pool of over €10,000,000. Accompanying the series will be missions, leaderboards, and a “hunt” for designer gifts. We have gathered all the information on these in the text below.

Key Details and Tournaments of Elite Series XL: Winter Ultimate Edition

• Dates: December 1, 2024 – January 14, 2025.
• Number of tournaments: 736, of which only 25 are Omaha events.
• Buy-ins: From €2 to €1,000.
• Game types: NLH (No-Limit Hold’em) and PLO (Pot-Limit Omaha).
• Formats: PKO (Progressive Knockout), Mystery Bounty, Multi-Flight.
• Satellites: From freerolls to €100 buy-ins.

The minimum guarantee for a single tournament is €1,000. The largest single-day tournaments on the schedule each have a guarantee of €100,000. Six of them will start at 19:00 MSK:

Multi-Flight Tournaments at Elite Series XL: Winter Ultimate Edition

The schedule includes 12 multi-flight tournaments. Eight of these are NLH events, with daily flights running from December 1 until the start of Day 2. All Day 2s begin at 23:30 MSK, with the largest guarantees being:

• €100 EXL | ARCTIC CONTENDER €200K Gtd — December 30

Omaha players will have four multi-flight events, with varying starting times for flights. All Day 2s start at 23:00 MSK:

• €7.50 EXL | OMAHA MYSTERY MINI €5K Gtd — Flights from December 1-15, Day 2 on December 15

Leaderboards for Elite Series XL: Winter Ultimate Edition

The record-breaking series will be accompanied by three weekly leaderboards, based on the buy-ins of the series’ tournaments.

Prizes will be awarded in non-transferable, non-refundable tickets:

• Low — Buy-ins from €2 to €5. Top 200 players win prizes ranging from €1 to €100.
• Medium — Buy-ins from €20 to €70. Top 150 players win prizes ranging from €3 to €250.
• High — Buy-ins from €100 to €1,000. Top 50 players win prizes ranging from €10 to €250.

Points for each leaderboard are earned based on various actions in the series’ tournaments:

• Play an EXL PKO — 1 point
• Knock out a player in an EXL PKO — 1 point
• Play an EXL tournament without PKO — 2 points
• Cash in any EXL tournament — 5 points
• Reach the final table of any EXL — 15 points
• Win any EXL tournament — 25 points

To participate in each leaderboard, players must opt-in via the Leaderboards section once each week. Without opting in, no points will be awarded for series tournaments.

Missions for Elite Series XL: Winter Ultimate Edition

Players can win tickets to certain series tournaments and special freerolls by completing promotional missions. To participate in each mission, players need to open the Missions section, find the mission, and click Opt-in at the start of the qualifying period.

There will be 11 missions across three categories, running at different times.

Missions Based on Rake Generation

Six missions will run at various times, offering different rewards:

• Frozen Fortune (December 1-23): Earn 10K points (€1K in rake). Prize — €55 Frozen Fortune ticket.
• Arctic Contender (Weekly, December 1-30): Earn 17.5K points (€1,750 in rake). Prize — €100 Arctic Contender ticket.
• Arctic Contender Satellite (Weekly, December 1-30): Earn 3.5K points (€350 in rake). Prize — €15 satellite ticket for €100 Arctic Contender.
• Challenger Ticket (Weekly, December 1-January 6): Earn 35K points (€3.5K in rake). Prize — €250 Winter Challenger ticket.
• Challenger Satellite (Weekly, December 1-January 6): Earn 7K points (€700 in rake). Prize — €30 satellite ticket for €250 Winter Challenger.
• Winter Slam (Biweekly, December 1-January 13): Earn 2.5K points (€250 in rake). Prize — €10 Winter Slam ticket.

Each mission can be completed once per qualifying period.

Missions for Series Tournament and Satellite Participation

Three missions will run from December 1 to January 15, with all awarding the same prize — a ticket to the €10,000 EXL Freeroll:

• EXL Satellite: Play 5 EXL satellites with a buy-in of at least €1.
• Series Grinder: Play 15 series tiered (single-day) tournaments with any buy-in.
• Mystery Bounty: Play 10 series Mystery Bounty tournaments with any buy-in.

The €10,000 EXL Freeroll starts on January 15 at 20:30 MSK. It will feature up to 4 multi-entries, with registration opening on December 1.

Knockout Missions

Two knockout missions will run from December 1 to January 15, offering different rewards:

• Bounty Hunter: Knock out 15 players. Prize — €10,000 EXL Freeroll ticket.
• Bounty Legend: Knock out 30 players. Prize — €2,000 KO Master Freeroll ticket.

The €2,000 KO Master Freeroll starts on January 15 at 21:00 MSK with one entry allowed per player. Registration opens on December 1.

Avatar Hunt: Ultimate Edition Promotion

During the Elite Series XL, players can participate in a hunt for 40 avatar customization items across 10 different styles, such as Plant, Fish, Rabbit, Referee, Joker, Queen, King, Leprechaun, Poker Player, and Dragon.

All missions are divided into 4 categories based on the reward they offer. Using the first style, “Plant,” as an example, the rewards look like this:

• 2D Avatar: Play 2 hands in any game.
• 3D Avatar: Play any Twister game.
• Table Animation: Play 5 hands in a cash game.
• Emoticons: Play an MTT (Multi-Table Tournament).

Each mission gives a specific reward, such as avatars, animations, and emotes. Missions must be opted into before starting, and each mission can only be completed once.
