PokerKing Hosts Three New Venoms
In July and August 2024, PokerKing will host three historic Venom tournaments with a combined guaranteed prize pool of $11,000,000. This article compiles all the known information about them as of July 10th.

In July 2024, PokerKing will give players a chance to prepare for the two brand new Venoms by participating in a cheaper “warm-up” tournament — $55 Venom WarmUp $1,000,000 Gtd!
Details of Venom WarmUp
- Buy-in — $55
- Guarantee — $1,000,000
- Period — from July 7 to 29, 2024
- 192 flights — from July 7th at 12:05 am ET to July 28th at 1:30 pm ET
- Day 2 starts on July 28th at 4:05 pm ET
The final table (Day 3) starts on July 29th at 2:05 pm ET
Structure of Venom WarmUp
Starting stack — 100,000 chips (100 BB) in flights; combined stack in Day 2 from all successfully completed flights
- Blind levels — 15 / 12 minutes in Normal, 5 minutes in Hyper
- Late registration — 12 levels
- Unlimited re-entries
- Duration of each flight — 17 levels
The Venom WarmUp final table will be broadcast in the PokerKing lobby with a 30-minute delay.
$2,650 Venom Mystery Bounty $8,000,000 Gtd
The first-ever Winning Poker Network Venom with a “mystery bounty” will take place from August 4 to 20.
The minimum bounty in this tournament is $5,000, and the maximum is $500,000. If the tournament exceeds its guarantee, the latter amount may be increased.
This Venom will have 5 flights
- Day 1A — August 4 at 06:05 GMT
- Day 1B — August 8 at 06:05 GMT
- Day 1C — August 11 at 06:05 GMT
- Day 1D — August 15 at 06:05 GMT
- Day 1E — August 18 at 06:05 GMT
Day 2 starts on August 19 at 07:05 GMT and will continue until the formation of the 9-max final table, which starts on August 20.
All flights have the same structure
- Starting stack — 187.5 BB
- Bounty prize pool deduction — $1,250 from each buy-in
- Late registration — 21 levels of 20 minutes each
- Unlimited re-entries
- Flight duration — until 15% of the field remains
Players can play any number of flights — their stacks will accumulate when moving to Day 2.
Additionally, each successful completion of Day 1 will earn the player a $2,500 min-cash — effectively returning one buy-in minus the rake.
Random bounties will only drop on Day 2 and at the final table, while Day 1 will proceed as a regular tournament.
$2,650 Venom PLO 6-Max $2,000,000 Gtd
For the first time in Venom’s history — dating back to 2019 — a special Omaha version of this tournament will take place in August 2024. It will feature WPN’s unique card reshuffle function, where cards folded pre-flop are not discarded but shuffled back into the deck.
This tournament will also have 5 flights
- Day 1A — August 4 at 07:05 GMT
- Day 1B — August 8 at 07:05 GMT
- Day 1C — August 11 at 07:05 GMT
- Day 1D — August 15 at 07:05 GMT
- Day 1E — August 18 at 07:05 GMT
Day 2 starts on August 19 at 07:05 GMT and will run until the formation of the 7-max final table. The final table starts on August 20 at 23:05 MSK.
All flights have the same structure
- Starting stack — 250 BB
- Late registration — 21 levels of 20 minutes each
- Unlimited re-entries
- Flight duration — 28 levels
Players can play any number of flights — stacks from successfully completed flights will accumulate on Day 2.
VenomFever and Beast & Crush Satellites
Tickets to the $2,650 Venoms can be won through hundreds of satellites in July and August 2024.
Until August 18, the room guarantees nearly 900 tickets to the Venom Mystery Bounty and 100 tickets to the Venom PLO. Direct VenomFever satellites have buy-ins ranging from $55 to $630.
Additionally, players can participate in 2 special types of satellites:
- $95 The Beast & SnC MEGA starts every Sunday with a guarantee of at least 20 tickets each
- $16.50 Madness — multi-flights with various guarantees
